For much of the year, we run a Saturday undertaking maintenance of the Churchyard. This is fairly light, such as removing weeds and grass from the graves and generally ensuring that the landscape or the Churchyard is tidy. Whilst we pay a contractor to undertake the “heavy work” a few people for a couple of hours once a month can make a real difference.
We get together on the first Saturday of each month (except midwinter) at around 10 am, for a couple of hours or so, it’s great banter and quite a social occasion. Please remember to bring a snack, hot coffee and some tools. For more information see the newsletter or check with Don, Phil or Will.
