Ok, so it’s not an acre. In fact, it’s a really small allotment, but perfectly formed!
Late last year, I thought it would be a great idea to have a small outdoor growing area for our school work and for some of our older congregation who can so longer garden, or who might not have a garden. After waiting a while on the list, I was offered this lovely piece of land, all set with some raised beds and a shed. After a bit of work, we have rhubarb and gooseberry bushes, onions, peas and beans coming up, with other things to follow.
