We had a happy hour together yesterday.

Lesley had reported she was delighted with the gifts for Oasis.Thankyou.
Lesley is going on December 21st.
Maureen reported her daughter took a load of Men’s clothes this week to Oasis. They will not be going again until the new year. Thank you again for all the support for this. I am sure we all realise the importance of what we do for Oasis. How lucky we are.
When talking about things we might do next year it was mentioned we might ask Victoria to give us a Zoom talk. Will follow this up with Lesley and Marie.

We have been asked to consider giving a little extra to church funds at this time.
The normal Christmas collection goes to the church. This is expected to be down because only a few smaller services. Don Henderson’s detail are in the magazine and will help with queries. If sending a cheque please state it is for Christmas.
Since our meeting I have been in touch with Rector. The reason he could not be with us is because of family problems. He has brought his son to Alderley so He and Kerry can look after him. His son has long term Covid. He may not return to full health for a year. His daughter Clare went into labour with her first baby early on Tuesday morning, he tells me there is nothing to report yet.
Please don’t besiege him with messages. There is much to be done on the run up to Christmas.
I asked his permission before telling you all this..

We plan to have a get together next week – Tuesday 22nd. Fiona will send you the Zoom detail.
Thought we might make it Christmassy. Perhaps a red jumper. If anyone has special memory, or story or poem, whatever!! please come armed with it.
