Thanks to your support and votes, last week we won funding from One Manchester for our amazing ‘Friday Feast Project’ and we just wanted to say THANK YOU for voting for us!
Now we will be able to feed and support more people in our community. Our exciting new project means that one Friday each month a member of our Oasis family, from a different country, will (with the help of our kitchen team) cook an exciting and traditional, nutritious meal from their homeland
29 nationalities are represented at Oasis from Sudan to Romania. Not only will our community be tasting foods from all over the world, but we will also be learning about different cultures and traditions as these are showcased alongside the Friday Feast!
This pioneering project will promote community cohesion and a greater understanding of language, communication, and cultural barriers.
We can’t wait to start our new project (when restrictions lift), we’ll keep you posted with news and photos!
