FRIENDS OF NETHER ALDERLEY PARISH HALL
There’s so much happening, and much more in the pipeline for events at our Parish Hall. With this in mind, we thought it would be a great idea to create a group!

“Friends” will aim to keep everyone updated via email, social media (we’re on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and local announcements, so not only can you attend, but take part in events such as the Christmas Table Top Sale scheduled for November 23 (11am – 2pm). The last Table Top Sale was huge success; all tables were sold out well in advance, and the plant sale by Mrs Greene-Fingers (AKA Keith and Angela Farrell) was so popular that it’ll be making a return this time around.

So if you’ve got any collectibles, bric-a-brac or pre-owned clothing you’d like to sell, just get in touch with Yvonne Bentley – yvonne.bentey.napc@gmail.com – to reserve a table. It’s only £10!

TRAFFIC ISSUES
Parishioners will no doubt be aware of the ongoing problems with speeding motorists on Congleton Road, Welsh Row and Nursery Lane, to name but three thoroughfares. From discussions with neighbours in Alderley Edge and Chelford, we are not alone! Apparently the Speed Indication Device (SID) near to the De Trafford Arms has recorded one vehicle travelling at 91mph. One can only imagine what it had reached by the time it passed nether Alderley Primary School!

Over the coming months we hope to tackle the problem as Parishes together rather than independently, and will keep everyone updated of our progress.
